A series of zines exploring the intersections between Biblical stories and contemporary Israeli reality, through a critical lens on the political, national, and social situation.
The creative process began with a calligraphic exploration I developed, inspired by the Biblical font, which I then scanned in different angles and compositions.
From there, I moved on to hand-carving linoleum to create texture, depth, and a visual character that gives each zine its uniqueness - just like the sharp and personal messages within it.
The combination of critical content with the handmade technique seeks to create a connection between past and present.
